Mental Health Awareness Program
Breaking stigma, educating the public, and influencing policy changes β ensuring no one faces mental illness alone.
About the Program
Badili Centre launched its first mental health awareness program in 2017 at Karibu Centre Thika. This program was launched in memory of Pastor Hannah's late sister, Emily Cain.
The Mental Health Awareness program addresses the causes, prevention, and treatment of mental illnesses, aiming to bridge the gap between science, social support, and faith-based approaches in mental health recovery.
Badili Centre is committed to using media platforms, community training, and research-based advocacy to break stigma, educate the public, and influence policy changes. Our goal is to see better support systems and early intervention strategies implemented globally, ensuring that no one faces mental illness alone.
