Badili is a Swahili word meaning "transformation." Since 2010, Badili Centre has empowered over 3,000 women trained in Kenya, Ethiopia and Nigeria through entrepreneurial and life-skills training.
We work with churches and organizations to equip vulnerable women and youth with the skills they need to thrive. Badili was founded by Hannah Nginya in March 2010. While working as an intern pastor at Nairobi Pentecostal Church–Woodley, she saw the plight of vulnerable women and founded Badili Centre in answer to God's call on her life.
Badili educates vulnerable women with the transformational truths of Scripture and equips them with entrepreneurial training so that they can start their own businesses or be attractive candidates for employment in their communities.
